What is TSEK Bi?
TSEK Bi is a TSEK platform service that provides you with an index in an easy-to-understand report, which allows you to quickly and reliably assess the probability of a company defaulting on its financial obligations within the next 12 months.
This information facilitates you in making a more accurate forecast of your clients' or partners' short-term capacity to meet the credit terms you have set. Thus, you can grow your business while maintaining its viability and avoid any potential risks.
The TSEK Bi default probability index is calculated using a specialized risk assessment model developed by Tiresias, based on international best practices, which is reviewed and updated on a regular basis and evaluates a company's creditworthiness on the basis of its balance sheets and financial statements.
Tiresias' expertise in developing credit rating systems, combined with its reliable financial and business data, makes the TSEK Bi report one of the most trusted and effective tools for assessing a company's probability of default.
What information does it provide?
- Information on your company of interest (GEMI, Activity Code, size, etc.)
- Index of the company's probability of default on its financial obligations over the next 12 months.
The index is based on a scale of 1 to 9. The closer the company is to a 1 to 3 rating, the lower the probability of default on its financial obligations over the next 12 months. Conversely, the closer it is to a 7 to 9 rating, the higher the probability of default.
If a company's rating is 4 to 6, you can also use the financial behavior data in conjunction with the balance sheets and sector indicators offered by the TSEK platform, in order to obtain even more comprehensive information for its creditworthiness’ assessment.
- A graph showing the percentage distribution of the specific sector’s companies by default index, so that you can assess the relative position of the company
- An explanatory table of the indices and the probability of default on financial obligations per index
- The company's most recent balance sheet data that have been published and indexed by Tiresias
TSEK Bi is produced for companies with a turnover or total assets exceeding €10,000 operating in Greece.
Which companies can obtain it?
All companies, regardless of sector and size, along with freelancers who engage in credit trading.
